The name "Wildcard" reflects our belief in the power of individuals to create positive change, even amidst unexpected challenges. My journey (Julija, founder of Wildcard OY) with gestational diabetes was exactly that – a wildcard. As an expectant mother navigating this complex diagnosis, I felt a strong need for a dedicated platform offering community, meal inspiration, and personalized support. Driven by this personal need and my passion for leveraging technology to improve lives, especially for women, I envisioned a series of supportive platforms to empower individuals and make a positive social impact.
